1 week until we leave for Camp Lassen!! Are you ready??
A few reminders....
1. We will be meeting at the sheds at 9am sharp on Sunday July 5th. Please don't be late so we don't delay our departure time. (We plan to return on Saturday the 11th around 1:30 back at the sheds.)
2. You must bring a sack lunch with you for the drive up. Make sure everything you bring can be thrown in the trash so we do not have food containers in the vehicles or tents at camp.
3. Wear your swimsuit under your scout pants. Once we check in you will ALL be immediately taking the swim test. Yes, the water is cold and Yes you must do it. No complaining!
4.Remember to bring $10 in a sealed envelope with your name on it for lunch on the way home Saturday. One of the adults will hold on to this so you won't be tempted to spend your food money on candy at the Camp store.
5. Money for camp. You can bring spending money for the store if you so choose. Also some of you have signed up for merit badges/ATV's/shooting that require additional costs. From what I understand you will pay these fees at the store. If you want to know if you need to bring money you can look on the Lassen website and find the merit badges you are taking and see if there are fees associated with it.
I still need a few camp forms from some of you. PLEASE email them to me!
I think that's it. If I am missing anything we will fill you in at the Scout meeting on Thursday night.
