This Sunday, May 24, 2015, the LIFEhouse Church, located at 4800 Sierra College Boulevard, Rocklin, California, will be having a Fallen Warrior Tribute/Flag Ceremony in which they would like all the Scouts and Scout Leaders to participate. I have attached a script of what we will be performing. This portion will be led by a Retired Air Force Colonel. They have requested we be there at 9:15 am to perform a couple practice runs before the actual ceremony. The service starts at 10:00 am and the portion the Scouts are participating in should be completed by no later than 10:30 am. The overall service should be complete by 11:15 am. Scouts and their families are invited to attend the whole service.
In years past, it was a good idea to bring an EZ-Up or Sports Umbrella and camp chairs if attending the complete service.
Please wear your complete Class A Dress Uniform and OA Sash and/or Merit Badge Sash if you have one. I look forward to seeing everyone there to:
- Support of the LIFEhouse Church, which has graciously supported us, by allowing us to use the facility for campouts and training sessions
- Participate in a service honoring the many Servicemen and Servicewomen who have died defending the freedoms we enjoy today
