Klondike Camp Final Notice

GOOD NEWS, there is approximately three feet of snow for our Klondike Camp.  You can assist us in getting our scouts up to the Tahoe Regional Park in a timely manner by  checking off my "To do" list below:

 

1.  Please be at the gear shed between 4:00 - 4:30pm tomorrow (Friday)

2.  Dress in your Class A uniform top with neckerchief, have your lower body prepared by either wearing snow

     pants, or by having your snow pants available to change into

3.  Bring a sack dinner to eat on the trip up to camp and $10.00 for lunch on our trip home

4.  Pack a small towel to keep yourself dry.  The snow will be slushy and wet with the expected daily

     temperature at 50 degrees

5.  Dress in layers so that you are prepared for our cold arrival (We will be setting up camp in the snow, in the

     dark)

6.  Have all of the recommended gear packed and ready to go.
