Next Saturday/May 13th is Special Kids Day at an equestrian ranch in Lincoln. The Troop assists several Lions Club chapters who put on this event.
The Troop still needs two adults and two older boys to assist with the parking of cars for the event. They're expecting about 300 disabled kids along with siblings and parents. That adds up to directing a lot of cars. See SignUp Genius to volunteer - http://signup.rocklintroop29.com/.
The arrival time is 8 a.m., and we're done by noon. The Scouts assisting with parking, for visibility and safety purposes, need to older and taller.
