On March 5th, March 12th, March 26th and April 2nd, I will be conducting a Citizenship in the World Merit Badge class. It will be from 1 - 3 p,m at 3259 Outlook Dr., Rocklin.
Please respond to this e-mail if you want to enroll your son. Please also notify me, by telephone, if your son is 14 years of age or younger. We need to determine if this class is appropriate for him.
There are seven requirements for this merit badge, although some requirements have multiple sub-requirements. We'll do two of the major requirements for three sessions and one session will be a single requirement.
The schedule is: March 5th - requirements 1 and 4. March 12th - requirements 2 & 3. March 26th - requirements 5 and 6. April 2nd - requirement 7. Please make sure all worked is typewritten and that the work sufficiently describes what is to be explained.
Some of the requirements can be answered through internet research. Other requirements, or parts of a requirement, require the Scout's individual thoughts or ideas. Please make sure you provide the direction to your son on what is needed to properly and completely fulfill each requirement.
