First Things First.
Since we are within two weeks of going to summer camp, signups for merit badges, horse rides, night climbs, etc. are closed. I am now locked out so of the system and no more changes can be made. Any additional changes will need to be done at summer camp.
Second But Still Very Important
We will be having a parent meeting at this week’s Troop Meeting (6-26-14) to:
1) Do a final check in and collect all outstanding paper work (medical forms, permission slips, etc.)
2) Collect any outstanding fees (camp registration, merit badges, horse rides, Troop 29 trip fees, etc.)
3) Collect lunch money in an envelope with you Scout’s name on it for the trip home ($10 cash)
4) Pass out the Camp Wente shirts for those who have purchased shirts and collect camp shirt money from those that have ordered a shirt and not yet paid. No payment – no shirt.
5) Discuss the do’s and don’ts of summer camp including what to expect as a parent, what to bring, what not to bring, how much spending money to bring, when to be at the Community Center (Troop 29 storage bin) for our departure on Sunday, and when to be ready to pick up your Scout on the following Saturday.
If your Scout is going to Camp Wente, you need to attend and bring your check book.
