This Sunday, March 23 at 3:00pm at the Community Center, we will be meeting up to work on the Cycling Merit Badge (MB) maintenance requirements. Most everyone in the troop is working on the merit badge, so I expect most people to come. This is definitely something that your scout(s) should attend because these are the hardest requirements of the badge and we will be working on them.
Each scouts should try to bring 3 things:
- Cycling MB worksheet (the same one they've been using)
- Their own bicycle (if possible)
- A parent to stay for duration of meeting
Having a parent come and stay is IMPORTANT. As I said before, the maintenance requirements are the hardest and can be confusing. The scout will have to do some of the maintenance requirements on their own at home, so having a parent who is with them when we meet would be very beneficial to your scout(s) in case they get confused. It is not mandatory, but HIGHLY recommended.
